The Calgary Burns Club Singers & Guests

The Calgary Burns Club Singers, all members of the Calgary Burns Clun, formed in 1994 to provide entertainment for Club members at their regular meetings.  The initial focus was to perform songs of Robert Burns and other traditional songs of Scotland, and while that focus remains, the Singers now include a variety of material in their perormances.  THe highlight for the singers was performing in the Edinburgh Military Tattoo in 2009, the 250th anniversary of the birth of Robbie Burns.  To date the group has released 6 CD's singing to backing tracks played and recorded by Henry Cairney of Calgary Flames fame!!
